Back before 5pm

Finally made it to our destination before 5pm for a change with a great post pitstop ride along the Loch to Fort William and surprisingly this time the YHA isn't half way up K2!

The achilles feels much better as I am wired up with painkillers so not looking forward to the morning.

1st day our average speed has actually gone up with 15.9mph over 96miles - we suspect we set off on day 1 like we had stolen the bikes as 17.2 probably drained any reserves we should have carried over

Can see Ben Nevis from hostel but not the top as too cloudy - wondering whether a quick run up the big chap in the morning will get the day off to a brisk start - will see what Paul and Clive think!

Kindest regards
