Long time, no blog, 15 twice last week, went for fifty on Sunday, punture again, 15 miles from home, back up crew not dressed!!!!! Whilst waiting for said back up, froze me trolleys off watching a guy fishing on Oakham Canal, spotting a kingfisher was far more entertaining. So cold, didn't realise there was a cafe 200yds down the other lane off the roundabout, could have had a cuppa etc. Cycle suitably repaired, going to go for solid tyres now methinks! I will teach them thorns a trick or 2, they won't puncture solids!
17 last night, couple more than normal, as front light went out after a mile, had to return to base, back up was in bath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This cycling is tough, think I need a trailer hooked up to carry spares.
No training this weekend, off to the rugby in Dublin, yippeee, so will do extra tomorrow and thursday.
