Broke the ton

Thought an 8m run mid afternoon yesterday would be a good test and it was in that heat with my complexion!

Just back from my first ton with 101m ave 15.2m/hr which I am happy with considering the first 50 was a killer. Went to Skipton via Chipping, Whitewell, Slaidburn, Long Preston so had some lung busting climbs - they took their toll on my mood at the 65m mark on an undulating jaunt back along the A59.

Hoping to do a gentle 20m tomorrow just to test my backside is up to it - more padding may be required!

Great to see Smithy blogging now and with some superb training. Impressive commitment from everyone I must say

Kindest regards
