Ear popping

Managed 2 rides over the weekend. The first was a return from Cheddar where the Wellington U9’s were playing in the cheddar rugby festival. The boys (and girl) won 3 and drew 1 game and due to an anomaly of the scoring system went through to the plate final rather than the cup final. The team dug deep and beat Redruth U9’s 4-2. A great game which spurred me on a fairly easy ride of 35 miles home with the wind in my back; this was the first time I have taken my recovery supplement! The following day went with 3 friends on a ride over the hills around Taunton; culminating in a big climb up Ford street onto the Blackdowns. I had to equalize my ears half way up due to the height climbed and physical exertion! Felt strong and great to have to 2 rides back to back; another 35 miles under the belt. So much for a relaxing weekend and a big thank you to Sam my wife for all the support.

Until the next ride. J
